This just doesn't work. It doesn't mean any thing to say that a node is
in the juridiction of a given LISTSERV. It means something to say that,
at a given time, with a given set of node tables, weight tables and
backbone servers, a node was in the "service area" of a given LISTSERV.
But this may change the next minute if new tables are installed. What do
you do then? Forward the entries to the new "service" LISTSERV for the
node? But then, maybe this server still has the old tables and thinks the
entries should be kept somewhere else. So what will it do? Discard the
new entries? Install them anyway? And what if a third server, which still
runs the old tables, sends a "change" request to the first server, which
was but is no longer (although it might later become again) the "service"
LISTSERV for the specified node? You don't have a can of worms here. You
have a full bin of them :-)
