Pete:

It occurred to me that this might be the case, but the fact that I receive
the approval acknowledgement message immediately indicates that LISTSERV(R)
has received the approval request and processed it on the server. The
occasional 30 min. lag time is between the time I receive the approval
acknowledgement and the time LSMTP actually begins processing the approved
message out to the subscribers.

I use a workstation to approve messages rather that sitting at the server,
but the server is in the same room. I can see (and hear) the server
activity easily, as well as see the results in my own e-mail (I subscribe
to all the lists I moderate).

I'll look at the logs to see if I can discover anything going on
there. Thanks!
