Also, some folks send HTML which appears to the unaided eye as fewer
lines.  Similarly, some send both plain and HTML.  I believe our POP mail
server only downloads one of them, though multiple format were actually
transmitted (unless of course the list has been setup * LANGUAGE= NOHTML).
