Since a distributed posting could have abbreviated TOPICS i.e., shortest
unique string, searching the archives is iffy. E.g., lets say the list
is defined with
* TOPICS= JOBS
and a poster submits an item with
SUBJECT: JOB: sysadmin opening at Lsoft.
Then if a subscriber had set their personal distribution options to
ALL,-JOBS (that is it would be categorized as the topic OTHER), this
posting would not be sent to them.
