Greetings,
We are doing our first mailing list with this software, and trying
to work out all the little tweaks. We sent a test message last week to 2700
users internally (which took about 5 seconds) and it was successful.
However, in the TO: field it shows TO: [log in to unmask]
That is the name of the list and the machine name that LISTSERV is running
on. My question is: is there any way to change the text that shows in that
field, or leave the field blank? I know that if we buy the SMTP add on - we
can do a mail merge and put each recipient's name in the to field. We
aren't interested in doing that. - We (especially our security admins) are
just not that excited about broadcasting machine names etc. to the 18,000+
subscribers we have. Additionally, it doesn't look the most professional.
Appreciate any comments or tips you might have on this.
