I had various list owners interested in just such statistics too (for
example, just how many people are interested in the files we are putting
in Listserv anyway?).  Therefore, I made a small modification to LSV$GETQ
which records such information in a file called "listname GETSTATS".
Then by looking at that file, we know just exactly how many files have be
gotten, by whom, when, etc.
