Comments:
When a list owner submits the 'add' command via email, the owner must use the
following format for the new subscriber's email address and name:

[log in to unmask] Henry Brown

When a list owner adds a subscriber using the web interface, the owner may
use either of the following formats:

[log in to unmask] Henry Brown
Henry Brown <[log in to unmask]>

This inconsistency creates confusion and leads to errors. We frequently
encounter situations in which a list owner has added a subscriber via the web
using the following format for the new subscriber's email address and name:

Henry Brown [log in to unmask]

LISTSERV interprets this information in the following manner:

Name: Brown [log in to unmask]
        Address: Henry

and silently adds the default domain to the unqualified address.

The web interface should be modified to:

(a) Provide more robust syntax checking that recognizes either
<[log in to unmask]> or [log in to unmask] as the subscriber's
address, regardless of its placement in relation to the subscriber's
     name; or

(b) Accept only the format used on the email 'add' command, i.e., the
email address followed by the name.
