You may all know this but you can check node list versions at most
sites by querying a special entry: LINKSymm where "y" is the last digit
of the year and "mm" is the two digit month number.
For example, a current case in point:
Eg. smsg rscs cmd psuvm q links705 fails
while smsg rscs cmd psuvm q links704 works!
(LINKSymm is defined off of one of the UCLA nodes). Not to pick on PSUVM,
705 also fails for RICE and UIUCVMD and probably others I neglected to try.
More importantly, this is also a good way to test your own RSCS updates!
Just send it a smsg rscs q links705 command (this month) to see if
the correct table got defined!
