Mailscanner is a milter (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Milter ) so it can
reject or tempfail suspect spam without rejecting it. Legitmate mail will
then be returned to sender if it's a FP. Then they can fix it and
resubmit.
Have you looked into a script that whitelists the subscribers of the list?
That should help resuce the FPs too.
I know if I was a subscriber, I would not want to receive spam that was
submitted via a list I was on. Keeping it out of the archives is probably
moot for most subscribers/lists. Yours may be different.
