Adding Tasos' listproc would be timely and relevant. Perhaps someone could

Yes. Supported platforms. For most of us, this is, by far, the most
important factor determining our choice. If a site has no VM, or if they
have decided to get away from VM tomorrow, then the relative merits of
Revised Listserv won't help.

There are other important considerations not mentioned here such as
CPU load, network load, security, management of bounced mail, etc.
