Thanks guys, finally managed to blunder my way to a fix following
your tips. Turns out (as you probably know) it wasn't Listserv's
problem at all -- it was Windows. File types are kind of a burden
in Win/NT when every program is trying to claim certain files and
default them to .txt extensions, etc etc.

Working great now. Thanks for the awesome support.
