It would be nice if your proposed "SUSPEND * ( NETWIDE" command would
become a "SIGNOFF * ( NETWIDE" command after a certain (settable?) period.
 
It is conceivable that someone will suspend their discussion list mail
and not return.  After 6 months to a year and no "RESUME * ( NETWIDE"
command was issued, I would prefer that these suspended subscriptions be
removed.
