I managed to get the new level set installed (it seems to have fixed a
nagging problem with HTML footers appearing in the middle of messages)
with lsv.o linked to the Informix DLI libraries.

Has anyone tried this before? I would like to start using our enterprise
database for some list functions. What's the best manual to read on
creating a database-backed list?

Future "nice" features might include 64-bit object files and JDBC support
(to get away from having to link to specific libraries for database
support). Everything we use these days uses JDBC.
