i used filter_also because the manual sez:

 TRAPIN
A  list of  Internet addresses  from which  LISTSERV should  never accept
mail. Mail  and files  from users  matching these  templates will  not be
processed.  This parameter  is provided  primarily for  VM sites,  but is
available  for  the  convenience  of  VM  customers  migrating  to  other
platforms and should not need to  be set by typical non-VM installations.
Note: L-Soft does not recommend using  this keyword to filter out problem
users. Rather, you should use the FILTER_ALSO keyword for that purpose.
