As list owner, I lsvput listname logxxxx, but got back from LISTSERV:

File "listname LOG9501" is unknown to LISTSERV, PUT request rejected.

"listname" of course was substituted with the real name; and there
was no pre-existing LOG9501 on listname. This is LISTSERV 1.8a

So, does Eric's solution (far below) imply that:

1) I shouldn't use LSVPUT (as list owner), or

2) that I must be LISTSERV administrator and PUT the LOGs, or

3) that the list _must_ be name xxxx-L (i.e, _with_ a "-L"), and _cannot_
be named something like xxxxxx (i.e, without the "-L" suffix, which
is the case for the list in question)?

If 1 or 3, then how do I do it?
