No, No, No, No.  There are four settings for the 'mail' option:
NOMAIL, MAIL, DIGEST and INDEX.  'nodigest' is NOT one of them
(unless Eric introduced an alias of MAIL).
 
Any time we get a chance we need to clarify this because it is very
straightforward but not necessarily intuitive.
