In response to my sending of a 'PUT listname PW= something' command,
LISTSERV sends E-mail to my VM/CMS machine, via the VM MAILER.
As a result, on my virtual console, I see a message like:

 RDR FILE 1234 SENT FROM MAILER PUN WAS 5678 RECS 0048 CPY 001 M NOHOLD NOKEEP
  * New mail from: "UVic LISTSERV" <[log in to unmask]>
  *       Subject: Command PUT listname

Could the contents of the 'Subject' line be enhanced,
to indicate whether the 'PUT' command was "successful" or "unsuccessful" ?

If "successful", then I don't have to immediately process the E-mail message;
however, if "unsuccessful", I would like to know, so that I could select and
read the message, fix the problem(s), and re-execute the 'PUT' command.

Thanks.
