Well, let's say that you have people subscribing from a web site and entering
all sorts of info about where they live, their interests, their purchase habits,
whatever. Then you want to send a message to every person aged 25-35 who
lives in California and has expressed an interest in gizmos. This just doesn't
work well with 1.8c, there are all sorts of approaches that can provide a partial
solution, or even a full solution in some cases, but it is not really a good fit.
Revnet had a big advantage in this market.
