Besides this, set the subscriber to NOMAIL on the address you know
about, then see if they get one less or none.

As Pete suggests,  a FULL set of headers can be very useful.  If one
mail went from Listserv to B to C to subscriber, and another went from
Listserv to X to Y to subscriber, check for subs from X, Y, A & B.
